Important Announcement:

A Message From Mr. Ed Dickens, Superintendent, regarding the High School Lunch Program:

I would like to announce that the Ohio Department of Education has approved ALL Waverly High School students to receive free breakfast and lunch. This program will operate the same as it currently does for the Primary, Intermediate and Junior High schools.

Regular breakfasts and lunches will be at no charge for high school students. However, normal charges will apply if students wish to purchase extra food items or a la carte items.

We are very pleased to be able to participate in this program, which allows us to offer this benefit to our students and parents.

I also would like to thank our lunchroom supervisor, Mrs. Lari Patton, for her diligent efforts in seeking the Ohio Department of Education's approval of this program.

Food Service Staff Completes the Ohio Department of Health's Certification in Food Protection Course

Recently members of the Waverly City Schools Food Service Program completed the Ohio Department of Health's Certification in Food Protection Course. The course was a training in sanitation and safety in food preparation and participants were required to pass an exam for food safety manager certification. Members worked together in support and preparation for the exam. Participants are pictured left to right: Food Service Coordinator Lari Patton, Barb Parks, Donna Maloy, Chris Legg, and Sharon Hughes.
