Waverly High School is proud of its many students helping the community and representing the school through organizational involvement.
Waverly High Science Club members were able to participate in Envirothon after taking off 2 years for Covid. The members travel to state parks under the supervision of Mr. Chris Murphy and Mrs. Carla Evans. This year's state park was Tar Hollow in Laurelville, Ohio. The day trip was sponsored by local Pike County Soil and Water Conservation district. There were 3 teams of 5 with 4 stations (soils, aquatics, forestry, and wildlife).
