Bachelor's Degree in Education (Science & Social Studies) from Ohio University
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University
Career Service:
With 20 years in public education, Mr. Shepherd previously taught 4th and 8th grade Science and History at West Union and North Adams, Physical Science at Piketon High School, and 5th and 7th grade science at Waverly. He also served as the Waverly High School Principal and now the Intermediate Principal.

I am very excited to welcome you to a brand-new school year at Waverly Intermediate! Whether you’re returning or joining our Waverly Intermediate family for the first time, we can’t wait to see the hallways filled with energy, curiosity, and smiles once again.
This year is full of possibilities. Together we’ll explore new ideas, build friendships, and take on new challenges. Our teachers and staff are ready and eager to support every student as they discover their strengths, develop new skills, and become confident learners.
