Waverly Primary School kicked off the new school year with engaging events and community support. The PTE organized a "Kick-off to Kindergarten" playground event on August 16, welcoming approximately 30 incoming students with playtime and popsicles. Additionally, the PTE partnered with the Waverly Fire Department to complete a full playground clean-up and stock outdoor play equipment.
The school also celebrated its weekly student achievements and dedicated staff members:

1st Grade Tigers of the Week: Penelope Ayers, Aerolynn Smith, Kaiden Brady, Leland Arndt, Gracie Cumberledge, and Trevyn Darst.
2nd Grade Tigers of the Week: Trevor Muncy, Cami Rider, Payton Minerd, Jace Walsh, Addie Moore, and Remi Bowman.
