May Blood Drive

With the final National Honor Society blood drive taking place on May 11, students and the community have collected a total of 121 pints of blood this school year which helped save 363 lives. In the final blood drive alone, they collected 47 units of blood, a high for the year stated NHS advisor Casey Phillips.

There is a desperate need for blood right now in the United States and our students assist in changing the lives of people every time they donate. Additionally, the amount of blood collected this year qualified a graduating senior to receive a $750 scholarship. Congratulations to Aiden Peoples who has donated and volunteered at more than 6 blood drives at WHS.
