The Waverly City School District Preschool Program is a grant-based program that serves our youngest scholars. Children who, on August 1st, are 4 years old and live within the Waverly City School District boundaries are eligible to attend preschool tuition-free provided they meet the grant requirements. The Early Childhood Education Grant funds are used to provide preschool services to economically disadvantaged children whose family income falls at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Families who live within the Waverly City School District boundaries, but do not qualify for the grant, are given the opportunity to pay a reasonable tuition amount for their child to attend a quality preschool program.
