Meet the New Waverly Primary Principal, Sarah Ward
This school year Sarah Ward is taking on a new role in the district as the Waverly Primary principal. Ward, who has worked for Waverly schools for the past ten years, has previously taught Language Arts and Reading at the Junior High and Intermediate buildings.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to know the staff at the Primary building and becoming part of the team in order to provide the students an excellent start to their educational career," said Ward.
Ward and her husband are the parents to two boys, both who attend Waverly City Schools, and they enjoy being active and spending time together. In addition to her teaching background, she has also coached volleyball, basketball, and track and field at Waverly.
"Waverly is a great place for children, I truly believe Waverly has the most amazing staff, "said Ward. "The teachers and staff truly care about the wellbeing of all students and if you walk down the halls of the buildings I've worked in, it becomes evident very quickly."
