Meet New Assistant Principal Bo Crabtree
This year Bo Crabtree takes on a new role in support of Primary Principal Sarah Ward and Intermediate Principal Joel Shepherd, the former Waverly third grade teacher is the new assistant principal for the primary and intermediate buildings.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of being in a new position, as well as collaborating with both students and staff to create a cohesive working environment that allows our students to thrive,” said Crabtree. ” Additionally, the new position allows me to use my perspective as a teacher to assist in educational decisions and allows me the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the administrative procedures that impact the learning that takes place within the district.”
Bo and his wife are the parents of two young children. He also brings his experience as a collegiate athlete at Kent State to the Tiger Track team where he helps coach the throwers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including their dog, working out, wood working and is active in his church.
He is excited about continuing his career at Waverly.

We want to create leaders who go out into the world and impact it for the better. We believe in our students, and we believe in our staff.”
