Students from Mrs. Phillips Child Development classes and Ms. Satterfield's class enjoyed a trip to Rose Valley Animal Park in Minford. Students were able to interact with numerous types of animals and learn about the gestational periods of different species. This learning experience will be tied into the Child Development curriculum as these students begin learning about prenatal development, pregnancy and childbirth. They'll be able to compare and contrast the ways in which different species care for their young and what parenthood/"child rearing" looks like in those species.
