The month of March is DD Awareness month. On Thursday, March 7th, Loufern Bowen read a book to Mrs. Trimble's first grade class. She read a book called Included. The aim of this story is to ensure all kids understand that kids with a disability are just like kids everywhere. Fern was at the school with the Pike County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
